Why Our Work Matters

Arthritis affects more than 1 in 4 adults and is one of the leading causes of mobility loss. Many individuals struggle with pain, stiffness, and limited access to supportive resources. At Hope in Motion, we are committed to closing this gap by offering accessible wellness programs, movement education, and mobility support for people at all stages of their arthritis journey.

Founder’s Story

Hope in Motion Foundation was created by someone who understands arthritis on a personal level. After being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at a young age and undergoing two total knee replacements, our founder experienced firsthand the challenges of mobility loss, chronic pain, and navigating life with a chronic condition.

This nonprofit was built to create the kind of support, community, and accessible movement options she wished were available during her own journey—so that others never have to feel alone, unsupported, or pushed out of wellness spaces.
